Our Drinks
Amber
Old Diablo Barley Wine
English Barley Wine, 11.0%, Q3-Q4, Draft, 22oz Bottles • Old Diablo is one of our oldest recipes and is our American interpretation of an English Barley Wine. We stay true to the English roots utilizing Maris Otter, biscuit and caramel malts to create rich malt complexity. Alternatively, we used the brighter, bolder American hops Amarillo (citrus/grapefruit) and Centennial (citrus/pine) to balance the sweetness. It’s heavily-bodied with medium carbonation intended for sipping.
Moon Time Hazy IPA
Hazy IPA, 6.8%, Yearlong, Hazy, Light, Hoppy, Fruity • MoonTime is our interpretation of an East Coast Hazy IPA. Unlike the East Coast versions; however, we wanted ours to retain the initial juicy character, but then finish satisfyingly dry. The London yeast provide the signature Tropical/Stone Fruit aroma and assist malted oats and wheat for the sought after haze and soft mouthfeel. Generous amounts of Vic Secret (Citrus/Tropical), Citra (Citrus/Resin), and Mosaic (Ripe Fruit) hops were used to achieve its signature flavor and aroma. It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation.
Metalmark Marzen
Marzen, 5.6% Seasonal, Amber, Malty • True to its Bavarian heritage, our traditional Oktoberfest is copper in color and malt forward. We use generous amounts of Vienna malt to provide a toasty compliment to the sweet character from two different Munich malts. Noble Hallertau hops provide balance and nice floral note to the final product.
Mad Badger Pale Ale
Pale Ale, 6.0%, Draft, 16oz Can • Mad Badger is our take on a traditional West Coast Pale Ale. We started with 2-row and a bit of medium caramel malts to balance and soften the hop presence. Amarillo (grapefruit) and El Dorado (stone fruit) hops were chosen for their smooth bitterness, while Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe were used in the dry-hop to bring a citrus/resiney quality. It’s light/medium-bodied with medium carbonation.
Lock’d Bock’d & Ready to Rock Maibock
Maibock, 6.9%, Spring, Draft, 16oz Can • This traditional Bavarian Spring lager is marked by its malty character and balanced noble hop presence. Pilsen malt forms the base, while generous amounts of Munich and Vienna Malt round out the grain bill, creating caramel-like flavors with toasty highlights. Noble Hersbrucker Hops provides a balance to the sweet maltiness while adding spice and floral notes to the flavor and aroma. It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation.
Hoptomic Double IPA
Double IPA, 8.5% Year Round, Draft, 16oz Can, Crowlers, Growlers • Hoptomic is a hop-forward West-Coast Double IPA that’s driven by profiles of Citrus, Pine, and Resin. We keep the malt bill simple so it won’t interfere with all the hops. Hoptomic uses Citra (citrus/resin), Amarillo (grapefruit), and Simcoe (pine/catty) to achieve its signature flavor and aroma. Often mistaken for malt sweetness, we add so many hops, that the hop oils start to impart body and sweetness to the beer! It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation.
